Light, physical and spiritual light come from him, the father of lights with whom there is no variableness, neither shadow of turning" ( James 1:17). Jesus said,"I am the light" John also said "God is light" (John 9:5. 1 John1:5) If God were two persons then God would be two lights. Since Jesus is Lord in his humanity and God in his deity, he is that light. the light that lighteth every man.
"if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship with one another" .. (1 John 1:5-7). If a man says he has seen the light but is not seen in the church, then he is a liar, and the truth is not in him. For if we walk in the light as he is in the light we have fellowship with one another. The light, the "revelation" comprehension and understanding of the one true God unites us attracts us compels us to get together to fellowship in this great light of truth.
..."and the blood of Jesus Christ cleanseth us form all sin" (v7) Folks who say they don't need church have forgotten the purpose, light attracts folks out of darkness. We therefore must ask ourselves is the light from the house revealing Jesus? if so folks are going to come, folks will see hope and receive forgiveness of sins and cleansing from all sin and unrighteousness (v7).
