The Excellency of God (605 hits)

"Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the "excellency" of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ," (Phil 3:8). Jesus was a man "par excellence." This excellence was found in a man and because it was found in one man it can be found in any man. Any man willing to seek him, in order to become like him. Such an excellence can only be acquired through a continuous encounter with divinity, many encounters. Encounters that change a man. That's what we need in our fellowship. An encounter with the divine. Then forever our lives would be changed and our purpose in this world, established and known.
